Podcast: July 27, 2013

Skinny & Houli worked the Catholic Charities golf outing this week so we’ve gone to the archives to make another “Best of Skinny & Houli” for the weekend. This show features our interview with the newly crowned 2013 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Queen Bridget Fitzgerald and her court, including Lauren Catinella, Erin Mulcahy, Lauren Corry, and Mary Kate Casey.

Then our friend Paddy Homan drops by to talk up his new CD “The Hard Way Home” and we listen to him sing “The Reel In the Flickering Light”, a lovely tune by this great Irish tenor. Then the incomparable piano accordion player Jimmy Keane visits with stories of his days playing for Mayor Richard J. Daley and some great tunes on his squeezebox. This show is a primer for those who’ve never heard our show before, a delicious taste of The Skinny & Houli Show!
