Flood Bros. Disposal presents The Skinny & Houli Show and this week is packed with Irish talent. We welcome Patrick J. Quinn, banjo man extraordinaire for his first appearance on the show. Pat hails from Cleveland but is now a Chicagoan, by way of Ireland where he studied as a lad. He’s a master of the banjo and brings a bunch of tunes for us, and is soon joined on the show by our old friend, Chicago greatest Irish tenor Paddy Homan! Paddy and Pat go way back and together put on a show for us. We also talk with Susan McFadden, on tour with Celtic Women, and she tell tales of nine months on the road starting in Australia and finishing up on Father’s Day. We urge everybody to get down to the Rosemont Theatre on Sunday to see Susan and the rest of the Celtic women. Hopefully next time they’re in town we can host them in person on the show. Paddy and Pat finish out the show with some great tunes as we sit along the river at Lizzie McNeill’s on a gorgeous summer night. Tune in, it will be almost like being there!
