Flood Brothers Disposal present The Skinny & Houli Show and this week we welcome Matthew McCahill, new owner of Chicago Chop House to the show. Matt took over the legendary steak house back in November and brings his own personal Irish American touch to one of the jewels of the Chicago restaurant scene. He’s got stories and a love for food and booze that he shares with us and we discuss the old-time feel of this classic joint where you can definitely “sink a root” at the bar. Matt invites us all to drop by and experience the history and tradition on display every night at 60 West Ontario with over 1400 photographs on the walls of Chicago’s most memorable Chicago Chop House. Then our old friend Jimmy Deenihan, Ireland’s former Minister for The Diaspora, talks to the lads about his Kerry GAA Center for Excellence, which he helped build in Ireland for all Irish sports fans. Jimmy was in town with Kerry GAA Chairman Tim Murphy and they invite us all to become part of the history and the future of Kerry’s GAA. We’ll have more news of their upcoming fundraiser for this great Irish athletic field and center later this year. The Kerry GAA Centre of Excellence.
