Flood Bros Disposal presents The Skinny & Houli Show on a “soft” night of drizzles on the patio of Lizzie McNeill’s Irish Pub. and we welcome new sponsor Nathan Carter to the show. We welcome back to the show piper Max Dunne and fiddler Rachel Gribben as our musical guests. Rachel leads the Thursday night sessions at The Galway Arms and Max will be joining her for the next three weeks on Clark Street. They kick it off with a march and then Rachel sings “The Lovely Sweet Banks of the the Moy”, taught to her by fiddler Kevin Burke when she was an au pair in Ireland. They follow that up with some reels, “The Lady on the Island”, “The Gatehouse Maid”, and “The Virginia Reel”. Then we’re joined by our old friend Cyril Regan, who is out promoting the fundraiser for our friend from County Mayo, actress Vera Kelly, who needs our help after a bout with blood cancer.
