Flood Brothers Disposal presents The Skinny and Houli show and we learn that Houli is still recuperating from the Ireland trip, but that won’t stop him! We have a mini reunion show this week with some of our guests from the Ireland trip joining us. Our first guest is retired Fire Chief and our old pal, Mike Miller. Mike has been on all the Skinny and Houli trips to Ireland and he shares his experience on this year’s trip compared to those previous. He also has a great story about his search for a free drink at O’Hare. There’s never a dull moment with Mike! Our second guest is none other than Johnny ‘Vegas’ Sheahan. Johnny tells us about his roommate on the trip, Freddy, and the craic they had. Our third guests this week are Tom ‘Froggy’ McGuire and Mary Ellen Duffy. They chat a little about their trip to Mayo to see their extended family and the old family home. We speak to Mary Ellen’s siblings and fellow trip attendees, Jimmy Duffy and Noreen Duffy, on the phone. They discuss Jimmy’s dodgy driving, their favorite parts of the trip and Jimmy is awarded “Rookie of the Year’ AND MVP of the trip. We also hear some brief recorded interviews taken by Houli while in Ireland with some of the other trip goers. It’s great to hear about everyone’s different experiences and we can’t wait until next year! Our final guest this week is Mary Kay Marmo from the Chicago Rose of Tralee. She chats with our hosts about this year’s winner, Maggie McEldowney and the plans she has for the coming year. As always, we have our usual ‘Who Cares?’ and ‘Who Died?’ segments and Skinny and Houli fill us in on some upcoming local events. A.nostalgic show this week with some great stories from Ireland!
