Flood Brothers Disposal presents the Skinny and Houli Show as Paddy Houlihan sits in for Skinny. Ronan Dalton, the manager of Kitty O’Shea’s on Michigan Avenue stops by the show. Paddy used to work there and both guys tell us about the craic they had during work and the celebrities they met. There is Irish music most nights there by some of the biggest Irish musicians in Chicago. They expect to be very busy in the upcoming months with summer fast approaching. Their 30th anniversary will be all day on May 12th with music, dancers and even a special new cocktail just for the occasion. Be sure to call in, folks!
Then Tommy Zbikowski and his trainer, Morgan McGarry drop by. Tommy is a former Notre Dame All-American, NFL great and he’s currently a firefighter. But he’s getting back into the boxing ring with Morgan as his trainer. Morgan is a Golden Gloves champ, long-time boxing trainer with his dad, the great Marty McGarry, and former marine who served in Kuwait and Iraq and is now a firefighter. The guys look back fondly at Tommy’s first pro fight in Madison Square Garden. Tommy shares his view on Conor McGregor and the UFC. He has a fight coming up on April 22nd at The Belvedere in Elk Grove, a benefit for the family of fallen firefighter Dan Capuano, Johnny Vegas stops by to share his wisdom and don’t forget, our annual trip to Ireland is coming up in October so be sure to get your tickets while they last!
