Thursday January 8th marks the kickoff of the 14th annual Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival and Skinny and Houli welcome comediennes Katherine and Leah of the comedy duo “Pure & Weary” whose show debuts on Jan. 15th at the festival. Hear how they met in Madison, Wisconsin and started their comedy act right here in Chicago.

Then our Irish cousins Paudie Sheahan offers up his “virtual pint” with stories of his grandfather’s fireplace and how he used it as a recycling incinerator in West Clare when they were kids. Skinny leaves for a six week sojourn in Florida and promises to call in each week with a new joke. We can only hope! Tune in!
