Fascinating show this week as Skinny & Houli chat with Sheila Lamb and Julie McNally, the keepers of the flame of the work of Sheila’s dad, the late artist Matt Lamb. Lamb was an internationally recognized, self-taught painter whose works are represented in public and private collections throughout the world. Matt started out in Bridgeport, the son of an undertaker, and after a medical close call, chucked it all to become an international artist who never forgot his Southside Irish roots. Lamb’s work is now in over 700 museums internationally, 1,000 hospitals, the Vatican, and in every University in Ireland. Great story from these lovely gals! Then Dublin native Mary Curtis drops by the Wednesday Wiggle to say hello to the lads, while she visits to renew her love of Chicago. Terrific show this week with terrific guests!
