Plumbers Union Local 130 Business Manager and Chairman of Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Jim Coyne, visits Skinny & Houli with a bombshell! This years St. Pat’s Queen Contest will take place on Sunday, January 19th, a full month earlier than years past. This seismic shift is great news for all of Chicagoland because now the season of St. Patrick’s Day will run from Jan. 19th thru March 17th. In the past Skinny & Houli have been judges for this event and that brings up a few stories as well as a call going out to find Chicago’s fairest colleen for the queen. Coyne also announces his choice of Grand Marshall for the parade, the new date of the annual corned beef and cabbage dinner, and the great history of CF Bruckner & Sons Plumbing Co. Chicago’s favorite Irish tenor, Paddy Homan, sings “The Hard Way Home”, written by Jimmy Moore, the title track of his new CD as we announce his Christmas show, on Dec. 14th at the Wilmette Theatre. We’re getting in the holiday spirit on The Skinny & Houli Show. Join us!
