Jim Riley of Riley’s Trick & Gifts returns for the third time to The Skinny & Houli Show and this time it’s a charm. Jim’s dad started the biz 76 years ago on the south side in 1937 and four generations later the Riley family is still providing folks with whoopee cushions, hand buzzers, and fake dog poop. Jim fills us in on the history of the hand buzzer, “same design since 1928”, along with tons of great Chicago trivia about the business of making people laugh. Riley’s has just moved to 8086 West 111th Street in Palos Hills after 40 years in Worth.

Skinny & Houli welcome new intern Cole Friel to the show and all the J-1’s here from Ireland who are working at Lizzie McNeill’s for the Wednesday Wiggle. Tourmekeady County Mayo gets big reps during “Who Died?” and the Kardashians don’t even make the cut for “Who Cares?” A superb edition of The Skinny & Houli Show, crack open a beer and enjoy!
