Podcast: February 9, 2013

Skinny remains in Florida so Paddy Houlihan joins us as we rock to The Wednesday Wiggle at Lizzie McNeill’s. Delightful Irish gals Bridget Rose Conway and Margaret Rose Keating, representing The Chicago Rose of Tralee visit the Show to promote and encourage everybody to join them for the Annual Polar Plunge on March 3rd at North Avenue Beach. Not only are Bridget and Margaret veteran plungers but so are their mothers! Special Olympics has set a fundraising goal of one million dollars so get ready to jump in the lake or sponsor someone who will. McCarthy Ford returns this week as a sponsor and Skinny calls in with the Snowbird report and then we’re joined by Tim Desmond of Jack Desmond’s Irish Pub in Chicago Ridge.  Throw in a short musical selection along with “Who Cares?” and “Who Died?” (Paddy didn’t remember meeting the late NY Mayor Ed Koch when he was three months old.) Tune in for the fun!
