Skinny & Houli kick off the first unofficial weekend of Chicago with special guests John Griffin and Barney Falin of Chicago Gaelic Park out in Oak Forest.  John and Barney are on the board of the park committee and this weekend, we’re in the midst of the annual Irish Fest, its 25th year! They’ve really got some great entertainment, unlimited carnival rides, lots of events and activities for the kids, a wonderful selection of theatrical performances from several area troupes, a wide assortment of food and beverage offerings available, the Irish Fest Mall, free parking and, of course, our man Mike Houlihan will be on site signing autographs.  You really can’t beat that now can you!

So get down to Oak Forest and catch the fireworks tonight, grab a pint for us and just enjoy this wonderful weekend. For more information on Chicago Irish Fest, visit their website.

As always, a very special thanks to our show sponsors: Flood Brothers Disposal, Jack Desmond’s Irish Pub, O’Rourke Cartage and Lizzie McNeill’s Irish Pub.
