And we’re back, with another jammed-packed show! Jammed because it’s hard to fit all of this great Chicago radio show into just 52 minutes.
This week, we have some really cool guests.
First, we talk with Garry MacDonncha and Laura Ni Cheallaigh, who visiting Chicago working on a documentary on President Barack Obama’s Chicago roots. Which will air on Ireland’s RTE when the President visits in May.
Houli is giving them a hand, by helping his Irish friends explore our great City of Chicago. They even had the chance to sit down with our very own Mayor Daley but will let them tell you the story.
We also had the chance to briefly talk with Mary Pat Kelly about her book Gallway Bay and a bit on her upcoming follow-up project.
Wow, what a great show my friends. Thank you very much to our new, and our loyal, listeners. We love your weekly feedback and next time your out with your pals, be sure to tell them about the show! Plus, don’t forget to fan us on Facebook and follow the Skinny and Houli Show on Twitter! We would really appreciate it if you told your digital friends too.
And, as always, a very special thanks to our show sponsors: Flood Brothers Disposal, Hawthorne Racecourse, Jack Desmond’s Irish Pub, O’Rourke Cartage and Lizzie McNeill’s Irish Pub.
See ya later, bye.
