The Snow Must Go On!

So Skinny skipped town last week to hide out in Florida for the rest of the winter. What a wuss! But he’s still calling into the Skinny & Houli Show every Saturday to torture us with weather reports and news of his golf game. He told us he got lost last week while jogging in Florida. Get used to it Skinny, most of the people your age in Florida need directions home.

Taking Skinny’s chair during his vacation is none other than the incomparable comic/writer/director/bartender Paddy Houlihan who picks up the slack for the Skin Doctor. Paddy seems right at home behind the mic so you better get back here Skinny before he steals your job and it becomes the Houli & Houli Show.

Looks like Gery Chico is gaining in the polls for mayor touched off no doubt by his appearance a few weeks ago on our show. We’ve also had visits from 45th Ward and 47th Ward Candidates Mike Ward and Tom O’Donnell respectively. And we’ll have more to come, as the election season heats up in the next few weeks. If you missed their bits on Skinny & Houli Show, check out the podcasts!

We’re also giving tickets away each week to the opening game of the Chicago Slaughter Arena Football Team, playing starting Feb. 26th at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates. Call us during the show for tix.

I can feel the energy building as we start to approach St. Patrick’s Day and we’ll have lots of stories to tell about the shenanigans involved with the high holy days, so tune in! WTTW Chicago Channel 11 will air my documentary, “” on Sunday Feb. 27th from 4-5PM and we’re kinda psyched about that too.

As always we salute our friends at Flood Bros Disposal and Hawthorne Racecourse for sponsoring The Skinny & Houli Show and please remember to play the horses at Hawthorne and have Flood Bros pick up your garbage, it’s their bread and butter!

See you on the radio!
